In this role, you will:

This position is focused on the implementation, administration, and integration of platforms used in the data and analytics space (Snowflake, Power BI, Azure, etc.). While development and coding experience (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.) is required this is not a data engineering or pure developer role. You will be enabling the Platform and features that the development community will utilize to create BI, AI/ML, and GenAI solutions. Prior platform implementation, expansion, and improvement experience required.

Architect, Implement, and Integrate new Data & Analytics platforms and architectures into the Kimberly-Clark’s technical and process landscape, and facilitate their early adoption with the development and business community.

Research new platform features and functionality to build Kimberly-Clark’s Data & Analytics Platform Roadmap and lead strategic decision-making.

Influence our vendor partners driving their continuous improvement and enhanced capabilities.

Innovate on First-of-a-Kind projects and Proof-of-Concepts to drive business value and technology investments.

Benchmark with peer companies, learning from each other’s analytics journeys and technology challenges.

Govern the data & analytics landscape with oversight on performance and best practices.

Provide “last level” support for all platforms as well as analytics and AI/ML products.

Advocate analytics capabilities that already exist within KC to reduce TCO and one-off tools.

Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Data Storage, Data Processing, Data Visualization, AI/ML, and Generative AI

Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure that Date, Analytics, and AI workloads are performing optimally and meeting SLAs.

Automate the deployment and management of Date, Analytics, and AI resources using tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps

Collaborate with security teams to ensure that the entire Data & Analytics landscape is compliant with security policies and regulations.

Providing guidance and leadership to more junior engineers on best practices for building and deploying Data & Analytics solutions

Effectively communicating with peers and leaders to ensure that Data & Analytics Platforms are meeting business requirements and aligning with the overall technology strategy.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience in the field

6+ years of strong, hands-on experience
-
Experience administering Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and/or Date Lakehouse Platforms and Architectures - Snowflake preferred; SAP HANA, MS Fabric, Databricks, and Cloud Storage a plus.
-
Experience administering Data Visualization Platforms - Power BI preferred; SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects BI, and Tableau a plus.
-
Experience administering Cloud Data & Analytics platforms – Azure (ADF, Key Vault, ADLS, Databricks) preferred; MS Fabric, GCP and AWS a plus.
-
Experience administering ETL/ELT and Data Replication platforms – Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate, SNP Glue, and Fivetran preferred.

Experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
-
Thought leadership in implementing new data & analytics platforms - designing security models, data organization, system integrations, DevOps, best practices, governance models, etc.

Any experience working in an SAP ECC, SAP S4, SAP HANA, or SAP BW a plus (low-level tables, CDSViews, Calculation Views, etc.) a plus.

Experience in large-scale SAP data migrations to the Cloud (e.g. Snowflake) a key differentiator.

Working experience on how to put modern cloud data / ML pipelines together.

Experience in distributed, scalable systems, modern data storage, messaging, and processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Databricks, Azure ADLS, Azure ML etc.)

Strong ability to communicate relevant information clearly and concisely.

Collaborative working style with a strong focus on disciplined execution and results.
