It is the primary responsibility of the VP, Casino Strategic Partnerships to cultivate strategic relationships with Casino Companies and Properties, in order to exponentially increase our player database, to drive revenue and to strategically position MSC Cruises as the preferred Cruise Line of choice for casino properties & players globally. In collaboration with our Geneva HQ, this role is responsible for managing US Casino partnerships, in an effort to increase awareness, revenue & brand loyalty, ultimately resulting in increased frequency of trips and higher levels of casino play.

Responsible for achieving Key Performance Indicators, which may include but are not limited to: increasing the number of Properties MSC Cruises has partnership agreements with, increasing the net value of players coming from existing and new properties, increasing our VIP database, maximizing ROI, and developing new business relationships (while maintaining existing ones) with clients &partners.

Develop and execute national strategy for building partnerships program

Lead pitches to outside brands & new properties for partnerships; negotiate and execute contracting to achieve best arrangement for MSC Cruises while providing fair value to client.

Find additional streams of opportunity/income with partnerships channels, including sales of cruise certificates

Identify &prioritize top casino companies/properties across the US for partnership; present MSC as best-in-class Cruise Partner, securing long-term, high-value business contracts

Drive cost savings through due diligence and detailed contract negotiations.

Report on business unit status (KPIs) at regular timely intervals

Responsible for key account/property management.

P&L responsibilities for all US Casino Strategic partnerships.

Collaborates with Geneva HQ on the budget management for the US Casino operation. Ensures plan is complete, accurate, and in line with our Corporate goals.

Determines and approves the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment for PartnershipProperties, such as complementary cruises & gifts.

Maintains the highest standards of ethical business conduct.

Strong ability to identify business issues, formulate plans to resolve these issues, and effectively communicate results to partners and management.

Create and lead regular productive meetings and interactions with casino partners.

Understand and abide by all company policies, procedures, practices and philosophies.

Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

At least ten (10) years of Management experience in relevant industry, and five (5) or more years of experience in Casino Partnerships specifically (preferably at one of the top US Casino Companies).

Strong understanding of casino companies, properties and their value from a partnerships perspective.

Proven track record in developing and delivering complex programs and projects with positive, measurable results.

Proven financial / budgeting experience required, including exposure to revenue, operating and capital budgets.

Ability to manage remote team members nationally.

Must be able to travel for 3-10 days at a time.

Effective organization skills and ability to multi-task under time constraints and within established deadlines; attention to detail and sense of urgency necessary.

Self-motivated and directed with ability to work on individual projects as well as in a team, making empowered decisions and taking ownership of designated projects and areas.

Excellent customer service, communication and executive presentation skills.

Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred:

Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent industry experience

Casino, Cruise or hospitality related experience

Previous experience in a similar position/organization

US Passport or US Permanent Resident
