Your team
Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
We provide senior management with business financial insights to enable them to define the strategic priorities of the Group and assist with the planning and monitoring of their implementation.
Your role
• Managing two team members.
• Managing the financial forecasting and scenario planning at the Group and business line level.
• Coordinating the annual budget process, including setting the business lines’ targets and recommending resource reallocations based on the strategic priorities of the Group and business lines.
• Preparing our quarterly performance reviews, including monitoring budget achievements and the progress of strategic initiatives in cooperation with our business lines.
• Coordinating our strategic planning process with our business lines and support functions.
• Planning, quantifying and prioritising the Group’s strategic initiatives, in cooperation with our business lines, and ongoing monitoring of business plans.
• Conducting mid-term financial planning and simulating the impact of proposed initiatives on the Group’s financials.
• Analysing market trends and competitive benchmarking.
• Monitoring the savings produced by our external procurement provider and preparing Group financial planning contributions to internal and external procurement steering committees.
• Monitoring our cost base, analysing the drivers thereof and developing recommendations to actively manage its evolution (strategic cost controlling).
• Carrying out financial analysis of the value contribution of individual activities/markets (growth, productivity, profitability) and developing recommendations for the Group’s senior management, in cooperation with the key stakeholders across our business lines.
• Providing ad hoc support with preparing internal or external presentations for senior management.
• Continuously improving our planning and analysis tools and processes, as well as financial reporting.
Your profile
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team of a large organisation.
• Excellent analytical skills, an ownership mindset, at ease with numbers and capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of and interest in the banking/asset management industries a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting and FP&A tools (Anaplan, Tagetik, SAP BPC, etc.) a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
