Sr. Project Managers provide leadership for large, high-complexity, external compliance programs within Global Quality, leading project teams through the initiation, planning, execution and closure stages of the programs Sr. Project managers will lead their teams in various analysis including in-depth understanding of the external regulations requirements and impact, risks and mitigations. They will collaborate closely with Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Integrated Supply Chain, R&D and Commercial. This person will interact with and influence senior internal and external partners. Sr. Project Managers will lead external commitments and lead partner expectations with regard to Baxter deliverables during the program. This person will serve as a champion of regulatory compliance recognizing how the program’s results impact the overall success of the organization. The Sr. Project Manager will develop core team and project management capabilities across the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Leads team in defining impact of the regulations to Baxter, program strategies, developing goals and roadmap
- Accountable for core team performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend
- Provides clear direction on requirements to meet expectations of external and internal partners
- Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and partners
- Ensures identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies
- Leads interdependencies with other similar/related programs
- Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and leads conflict situations
- Improves business results through continuous improvement and application of lessons learned
What do you bring:
- BS in business administration, finance, communications, or a similar degree
- 7+ years project management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site, global or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products industry
- 7 years of confirmed experience in Quality, Manufacturing, R&D or related field in the medical products industry
- Solid track record of successfully leading strategic partnerships and teamworks within the quality, manufacturing, or medical products industries
- Scrum Master Certification a plus
- Critical and Strategic thinking
- Discernment
- Executive level communication skills
- Role Model of Vital Behaviors and Leadership Essentials
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices and Product Development Process requirements
- Expertise in all aspects of program management
- Proficient in Project Management methodologies and tools
- Experience leading regulatory programs/projects
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others
- PMI or IPMA or equivalent certification desired
We understand compensation is a meaningful factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
