Your team
Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
You will work in the Group Management Accounting team in Geneva, part of the Group Finance department and the Corporate Functions division.
Your role
As a Financial Controller in the Group Management Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in transforming financial data into actionable business insights. This position requires a professional with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in data management, visualisation, and automation. You will work collaboratively across departments to ensure the quality and relevance of analytical processes, supporting strategic decision-making and financial initiatives. Your responsibilities will include enhancing our financial analytics capabilities by defining consistent and pertinent KPIs and developing dashboards that provide easy access to critical information, thereby facilitating informed decision-making across the organisation.
• Profit and loss analysis: Convert financial statement figures into business-relevant profit analyses, providing insights into key financial drivers and performance metrics.
• Tool and control development: Design and implement tools and controls to ensure the accuracy and relevance of financial analyses, enhancing the quality of insights provided to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work across various departments to manage relationships and align financial strategies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of financial impacts.
• Data visualisation and reporting: Develop specific reports and data visualisation tools that highlight key elements and drivers of financial evolution, making complex data accessible and actionable.
• Enhancement of analytical tools: Support the development and propose new analytical tools to improve decision-making processes, fostering innovation in financial analysis and reporting.
Your profile
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related roles, with a focus on P&L analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex financial issues.
• Proficiency in data management and visualisation tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau and MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in French and English mandatory.
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
