Tasks
- Assist the PIC with operational control and ATC flight plans.

Skills
- Experience in fuel planning, weather analysis, and valid Dispatcher License.

Flight Dispatcher

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the PIC on Operational control, filing ATC flight plans, submit delays and/or cancel ATC flight plans,
Evaluate weather information to determine potential flight safety hazards and select the preferred and most economical route of flight,
Compute the fuel amount required, flight distance, technical limitations and other factors affecting safety of flight using Company and ICAO established standards and procedures,
Prepare the Complete Briefing which contains the OFP, METARs, TAFs, NOTAMs, SIGMETs, PIREPs and other information required for the safe completion of the flight,
If required, send the fuel order to the appropriate agents,
Monitor weather conditions, aircraft position, aeronautical navigation charts and aircraft radio calls to evaluate the progress and safety of the flight (Flight Watch),
Advise the PIC of any significant changes to weather or the flight plan and recommend changes as required for the continued safe operation of the flight,
Coordinate the flights with the respective authorities and assist the PIC of an aircraft with an emergency or a diversion situation by providing any necessary information to ensure safe completion of the flight,
Deliver and assist the PIC with Handling, Hotel and Fuel contacts and other documents related to the flight,
Monitor permits in accordance with the project management department for aerial survey missions,
Coordinate efficient and timely communication with the aim of efficient and safe execution of the flight,
In case of an Emergency situation, follow the requirements of the ERP,
Report all the irregularities and any problems concerning safety issues to the NPGO,
Insert all the operational information that is on the flight records, as soon as the PIC/CDR sends them to the
Flight Dispatch Department,
Flight document archiving,
Execute other/additional tasks/projects according to the needs.
COMPETENCIES AND PROFILE
Solid experience in Fuel planning VFR and IFR, weather and NOTAM analysis,
Valid and current Dispatcher License or have acted as a pilot, navigator, meteorologist, air traffic controller or radio operator,
Proven competence in EASA Civil Aviation Regulations, Swiss Air law and other company standards,
MS Office Suite Proficient User,
Proficient in French & English, other European language an asset,
Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record certificate,
Flexible, team worker.
