The mission of our Production Engineer is to ensure our processes and equipment allow us to manufacture in the quantity and quality that our growing customer base requires. You will keep an overview of all processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements. You will select or design equipment and tooling, establish safety procedures, enhance ergonomics, and translate these into work instructions. You will also interface with R&D to introduce new products into manufacturing and coordinate improvements to existing designs. Put together, you’ll allow us to produce under the best possible conditions to secure our growth.
YOUR TASKS

Supervise and enhance the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner.

Diagnose problems in the production line (incl. bottlenecks) and provide recommendations.

Buy or Create tooling to help the operators and increase our production capacity

Work with product development team (R&D) to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation for production operations, including standard operating procedures (up-to-date work instructions).

Follow change requests (link with every department).

Establish safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimise the carbon footprint.

Implement and oversee quality control procedures to meet product specifications and comply with industry standards.
YOUR PROFILE

Proven experience in the engineering field. Understanding of:

Manufacturing processes & optimisation

Quality control

Product development processes
-

Good general understanding of mechanics, electronics, fluidics optics, material science, chemistry

Quality : ISO 9001 experience

Proactivity with analytical and critical thinking skills

Practical problem-solving attitude with creative/innovative thinking

Organisation skills

Interdisciplinary collaboration & good communication

Mechanical knowledge and CAD proficiency (Solidworks) is a plus
