Our Focus-Track Graduate Programme is an 18-month journey designed to unleash your full potential, offering three rotations, including an international assignment. This unique opportunity will immerse you in Julius Baer’s global network, provide hands-on experience, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.
Your team
Join the Investment and Wealth Management Solutions (IWMS) area and become part of the CIO Strategy & Investment Analysis Team. During your journey, you will gain experience and insight into the world of professional investment management, working closely with our globally recognized Chief Investment Officer (CIO). As a key member of the CIO Strategy & Investment Analysis team, you will support the development of the Bank's investment views, strategies, and publications, and contribute to the creation of thought-leading research, market analysis, and investment recommendations.
You will play a critical role in shaping the Bank's investment approach and providing bespoke investment management solutions to our ultra-high net worth individuals and most sophisticated clients worldwide. Additionally, you will support the CIO's external representation, including media appearances, conferences, and other public forums, helping to promote the Bank's investment expertise and thought leadership.
By joining our team, you will become an integral part of a dynamic and high-performing group, led by one of the industry's most respected investment leaders. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior investment professionals, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the continued success of Julius Baer's discretionary investment management business.

YOUR PROFILE

Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Banking from a reputable university, with above-average grades (graduated within the last 12 months)

Experience: Initial practical experience in the financial industry, preferably in wealth management or economics, is a plus.

Certifications: CFA (completed or in progress) is desirable, but not mandatory

Skills and Mindset: o Passion for wealth management and creating value beyond wealth. o Global mindset and excellent interpersonal skills. o Strong appetite for learning and self-improvement

Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus (especially Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic (Fusha), German and French)
