The opportunity
We are searching for a skilled Process Engineer to join our bipolar semiconductor Process Engineering team in this role will have unique chance to combine deep technical knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes with data analysis capabilities. You will work in our state-of-the-art cleanroom facility, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes, increase yields, and implement innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
This position requires expertise in bipolar device physics, semiconductor fabrication techniques, and statistical process control methodologies. Your analytical skills will be applied to identify trends, solve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop, optimize, and maintain bipolar semiconductor manufacturing processes, focusing on Lithography or Wet Etch Processing

Analyze process data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities

Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality

Create reports to aid in management and financial decision-making

Design and integrate mechanical components required in manufacturing using CAD tools

Create Power BI dashboards to visualize key process metrics and production KPIs

Develop Python scripts for automated data analysis and process monitoring

Maintain a safe and friendly work environment by following rules relating to personnel, product, and environmental safety
Your Background

Master/Ph.D. degree in science/engineering

Understanding of bipolar device physics and fabrication processes (diffusion, ion implantation, thin film deposition, photolithography) with deep experience in photolithography or wet chemical etching processes

Experience with semiconductor manufacturing execution systems (MES)

Understanding and experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology

Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analytics dashboard creation and Python programming skills for data analysis are nice to have

Experience with statistical process control (SPC) methods, Design of Experiments, and yield analysis

Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control

Proficient communication skills; Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Knowledge of German is a plus
