As a key driver of our ambitious growth and profitability goals, the B2B Pricing Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our pricing strategies for B2B products and services. This position is instrumental in ensuring a data-driven, customer-centric, and competitive pricing approach that maximizes revenue potential while maintaining compliance and minimizing risks. Through close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and other key stakeholders, the B2B Pricing Analyst directly influences business success and long-term market positioning.
Tasks:
- Pricing Structure Analysis & Modeling: Develop and refine pricing models tailored to our B2B products incl. analyze existing pricing frameworks to identify weaknesses and potential improvements, emphasizing profitability and compliance
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure adherence to pricing processes, monitor compliance with pricing guidelines, and proactively address deviations. Additionally, review and approve customer business cases to ensure financial viability and control adherence
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Management, Commercial Planning, Finance and Business Intelligence teams to align pricing strategies with market needs and work with Sales and Base Management to ensure pricing aligns with retention goals
- Monitoring & Reporting: Create a framework for continuous monitoring of pricing metrics (e.g., gross profit, churn impact) and perform scenario analyses to evaluate pricing strategies and provide data-driven recommendations
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on market trends and advanced pricing methodologies to propose and pilot innovative solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in a subscription-based business model
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to develop and implement governance frameworks ensuring pricing compliance
- Fluency in English is a must; German is an advantage
