The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Generator Circuit Breaker Quality Team in Oerlikon, Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, defining and executing improvements to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiency and productivity, as well as boost customer satisfaction through the value chain.
How you’ll make an impact

Supporting the development and deployment of the continuous improvement framework with governing improvement project portfolio

Contributing Lighthouse Framework implementation and assessments

Executing data analysis, defining and driving corresponding improvements, considering voice of the customer and business requirements

Planning and implementing quality assurance and compliance processes.

Delivery of the trainings to support the deployment of new processes and procedures

Supporting the development and implementation of tools and digitalization strategies

Leading and coordinating improvement initiatives with collaborating cross-functionally and utilizing Lean Six Sigma toolbox

Developing and increasing Lean Six Sigma competency within the organization
Your background
-
Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
-
Certification in Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt (preferable)

Strong influencing skills within and outside the organization

Expertise in managing and driving change within an organization

2-3 years of experience in a similar position
-
Proven track record of leading successful Continuous Improvement/ Lean Six Sigma projects

Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and information clearly and effectively with proficiency in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus

Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans
