POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Assist with function/TAU and site monthly financial reporting process as well as support quarterly/annual planning activities. Maintain performance tracking and analysis for external collaborations. Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work with manager to support the annual budget and Mid-Range Planning for function or TAU
- Support the Accounting team on monthly/quarterly closes, tasks including calculation of monthly accruals and preparation of journal entries
- Use financial models and analytical tools to support functional/TAU objectives and projects and support decision making
- Serve as financial representative on teams and provide advisory services.
- Create and approve purchase orders. Ensure purchase orders are consistent with agreements.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and presentation support as required.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Some business experience (including internships/co-op).
- Previous budgeting/planning/monthly variance analysis experience.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial planning/reporting systems experience (e.g. Cognos, SAP).
- Strong computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills:
- Analytical – ability to analyze monthly financial results and ROI outputs and to understand how to use this information to drive projects that will impact the business.
- Teamwork – ability to work effectively in and foster a team environment.
- Communication – Excellent oral, written, and presentation communications skills needed

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$84,000.00 - $132,000.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
