To strengthen our Springfield, VA SICPA Securink Corporation team, we are looking for a:
QUALITY MANAGER
ROLE
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ISO compliance within the company. This role ensures that the company’s products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations and certifications. The Quality Manager is the company’s IMSL (Integrated Management System Leader) within the company IMS (Integrated Management System) and will work closely with other departments to implement and maintain quality management systems.
- Maintain continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), SIMS (SICPA Integrated Management System) in accordance with ISO standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and certifications.
- Lead internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement. Ensure conformance to the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality management principles and practices.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management including conducting Management Review as required by ISO standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality management and ISO compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Requires working with all levels of the company across department lines.
- Oversee supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits.
- Together with the Quality Assurance Department, ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to quality management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, including ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Microsoft proficient (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc)
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
