As a Production Supervisor, you are a leader who is willing to listen and encourage others by your actions! Your role as a Production Supervisor positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfil our mission to save and sustain lives. You own the line between meeting production timelines and making quality products. As a manager, you are the trusted critical connection between the business and the workers on the floor.

What you'll be doing
- Accountable for the production activities of the department assigned to you, including but not limited to:- Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Service targets
- Continuous improvement of set KPI’s within your departments
- Develop strong and effective working relationships with cross functional departments i.e. Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance and Product Development to ensure all have a clear understanding of expectations and KPI’s within your department
- Responsible for maintaining high standards in relation to EH&S, 6S, GMP and housekeeping of your department
- Able to make effective and timely decisions for Product Rejects and Process Stops and Deliver accurate and timely information on departments performance to Managers and communicate during Tier Meetings
- Drive and support project improvement activities as the need arises
What you'll bring
- Able to drive results including Safety, Quality, Cost and service delivery
- Portray a professional and positive approach and lead by example
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with team including development, training, ACE reviews and feedback
- Experience in performance management of team including Absence, Time Keeping and general conduct
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing / Production environment and knowledge of GMP
- Able to access and interpret relevant information relating to departments performance including efficiency and overtime
Education/ Qualifications
- 3rd Level qualification -preferably in an engineering discipline (Desirable)
