Are you ready to lead and drive global marketing and sales activities in a dynamic role?
As the Global Service Sales Network (Channels and Segments) Leader, you will manage a team and develop strategies to grow orders, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction.
This role involves developing and implementing market-based strategies for portfolios, regions, channels, and key accounts to drive top-and bottom-line growth. Join us to make a significant impact on our global service sales

Within this role, you will have two direct reports responsible for Data Centers and Renewables/Generation. You will directly manage all other segments.
This is a global role, and applicants will be considered from multiple locations. Travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and guide the service segment team to align and implement segment sales and marketing activities.
- Develop and drive the Service Go-to-Market (G2M) Strategy to generate volume and profitability growth across assigned market segments.
- Ensure all market segments meet financial targets and increase relevant metrics.
Market-Based Approach:
- Develop and implement a market-based approach, including direct, third-party, and project sales.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key stakeholders to support segment service opportunities and convert them to orders.
- Act as a segment champion, helping customers develop and execute segment strategies.
Global Segment Community:
- Establish a global segment service community and promote pipeline and orders growth.
- Align region-by-region with business units to achieve rapid service orders growth.
Representation & Collaboration:
- Represent Hitachi Energy Service segment solutions within the Hitachi Energy INL structure.
- Leverage complementary segment offerings from other Hitachi companies like Hitachi Vantara and Global Logic.
- Collaborate with Account Management and INL Segment structures to achieve account budgets and maximize service market share.
Data-Driven Approach:
- Foster a data-driven approach using Hitachi Energy’s Standard Tools such as Installed Base Management, Salesforce, and Centers of Competence (CoCs).
- Promote and communicate best practices throughout the service network.
Service Segment Strategy:
- Develop a service segment strategy to meet market requirements.
- Ensure the value proposition for the segment is well communicated to all stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts, providing feedback on market developments and requirements.
Financial & Operational Management:
- Monitor appropriate prices and margins within defined segments.
- Support the sales team in negotiating key contracts.
- Assist the Marketing and Service Manager in developing a cross-BU service model to capture and accelerate growth.
Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Enhance sales capability and build a sustainable segment sales pipeline in collaboration with the INL Segment Manager.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive, demonstrable experience in sales, account management, or management consulting within the energy sector.
- Skills:
- Proven track record in selling and negotiating strategic, complex customer-facing projects.
- Strong understanding of electricity/energy infrastructure development processes and their contractual and financial structures.
- Excellent project management skills, initiative, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
- Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel for business assignments.
- Experience in leading and managing change communications.
- Experience in line management is desirable.
