As a Duty Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and personalized stay. You will support the Hotel Manager as the go-to person for day-to-day operational issues, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service, and that the hotel runs efficiently. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all guest experiences are seamless and memorable.

Your profile
Who you are:
Most importantly, you carry hospitality in your heart and find true pleasure in providing service excellent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in hotel management, in a supervisory or management role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
- Education: Ideally Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment. Experience with conflict resolution and staff training is essential.
- Guest Service Excellence: Strong track record in delivering exceptional guest service, with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
- Operational Acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage management. Familiarity with hotel management software, such as POS, PMS is required as well as good knowledge of the Microsoft-Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.

- Guest Interaction & Experience:
- Actively engage with guests throughout their stay, addressing any inquiries, special requests, or concerns they might have.
- Manage guest feedback, resolving any issues quickly and effectively to ensure a positive outcome.
- Take charge of personalizing the guest experience, ensuring every detail meets or exceeds expectations.
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the smooth operation of all hotel departments during your shift, coordinating with department heads and staff to resolve any operational issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms, ensuring that cleanliness and service standards are maintained at all times.
- Serve as the key decision-maker in the absence of senior management, managing any emergencies or unexpected situations that arise.
- Team Support & Management:
- Lead and support the team by providing guidance and assistance as needed, ensuring that all staff are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Assist in the development and training of team members, helping them to enhance their skills and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and manage staff scheduling and attendance, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operations throughout your shift.
- Admin Support and Office Tasks
- Handle the closing of daily billings and settlements, preparing these for review by hotel management.
- Maintain records of staff attendance, schedules, and shift changes, ensuring all administrative duties are up-to-date and organized.
- Prepare preliminary monthly reports related to operational performance, ready for sign-off by the Operations Manager.
