British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a PDM Manager - System Administration in Southampton
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
Ongoing maintenance, operational support, and management of the Teamcenter projects, document & data, enabling Teamcenter ensuring Teamcenter data is of the highest quality, and can be relied upon to be the sole source of truth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work together with required SMEs to ensure SOPs are up to date for leading projects, documents, and data in Teamcenter.
- Ensure data standards for creation of all files are in place, maintained and adhered to
- Support the definition and embedding of Teamcenter ways of working and SOP’s.
- Assist in providing training to users where needed.
- Supervise the performance and user-adoption of Teamcenter.
- Build and maintain visible relationship with super-user community.
- Support the deployment of Teamcenter improvements/upgrades to the global users.
- Act upon, or, where appropriate re-assign Teamcenter workflow related tasks, to ensure optimal operation of Teamcenter.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- In-depth and demonstrable knowledge of BAT Teamcenter (functional design and capabilities, system processes and ways of working, user manuals, SOP’s, Teamcenter administration)
- A highly diligent, focused individual, with a good level of attention to detail, to ensure a consistent, high quality of the Teamcenter document management system.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with the wider user and support community.
- Good communication skills English
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
- Ability to work independently when required.
