About the role
Our client, an online bank, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to come and help out the Head of Legal & Operations. You’ll be working cross-functionally with awesome colleagues in other departments and be responsible for monitoring their day-to-day operations, analyzing operational data, establishing internal capabilities on technological tools, supporting their banking processes while coordinating ad-hoc operational measures to keep the business running.
Work tasks
- Manage daily banking and IT operations, including employee onboarding, to ensure smooth processes and tech support.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to analyze operational challenges and implement mitigation measures.
- Lead initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance processes, and integrate innovative IT tools.
- Consolidate, analyze and visualize organizational data.
- Ensure transparency within the organization.
- Assist with operational financial planning, reporting, and ad-hoc tasks.
We are looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in Operations or Project Management within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of banking processes, payment systems or similar financial operations
- English working language; French is an asset
- Comfortable with IT
- Experience with the Confluence/GIRA tool, an asset
- Proactive, sociable and pragmatic attitude
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders.
