Job Description Summary
The Senior Engineering Planner is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining schedules and plans for HDNU engineering projects including Plant Engineering scope, and managing Planning Optimization all along the project lifecycle towards the Baseline/Rebaseline management.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design and Configuration Management Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
- Responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining schedules and plans for HDNU engineering projects including Plant Engineering scope.
- Manage Planning Optimization all along the project lifecycle towards the Baseline/Rebaseline management.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate in the development and preparation of project planning ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Track project progress, using monitoring systems to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses on project advancements, highlighting achievements, obstacles, and potential solutions
- Manage the project float and risk (delay) management
- Coach engineering planners in the transition to engineering planning discipline
- Ensure the planning needs of the Projects organization that use and interact with the schedule plan are met
- Timely and effective conflict resolution when technical scheduling decisions are involved on project planning
- Rollback of Project Planning Lesson Learnt to Engineering Planning Templates
- Develop action plans to anticipate risks and respond to complex or high impact problems in the Engineering Planning function.
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data to all levels of the organization ,providing status, identified risks and mitigation plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science; or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Significant experience in an Equipment or Engineering Planning capacity.

- Proficiency in managing and overseeing large complex projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess complex project data, identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines
- Knowledge of GE Power’s products, processes, and organizational structure
- Demonstrated experience with working with Engineering Tools and their effective support of our processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills with peers and leadership
- High energy, self-starter, with a proven track record in delivering results
- Highly effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting with leadership across multiple organizations.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,200.00 - 185,400.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

Qualifications requises
- Baccalauréat en sciences, en génie, en physique, en chimie, en mathématiques ou en informatique.
