Introduction
Lä gazette is a renowned brunch café in the heart of Switzerland, known for its fusion of traditional middle eastern cuisine with a modern twist as well as not very traditional pastries. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen, creating delectable dishes, and ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals in the restaurant.
- Develop new recipes and menus, ensuring a variety of high-quality dishes.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to a high standard of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff, including setting work schedules, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work alone, under pressure and multitask.
- Fluency in English and French;
