On behalf of one of our clients based in Zurich, we are seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead and optimize IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless network administration and technical support. This senior-level role involves strategic oversight, process improvements, and team leadership to enhance operational efficiency and security across the organization.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and network infrastructures.
Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance performance and service delivery.
Develop and implement IT policies, security measures, and best practices to ensure system reliability and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents (Level 2 and 3) related to system and network performance.
Drive IT projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and integration of new technologies.
Monitor and analyze network performance to ensure optimal availability, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with business objectives.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee external IT service providers.
Languages: Fluent in Swiss-German/German and professional-level English.
Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and technical support.
Certifications: Cisco, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
Strong expertise in network technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) and system environments (Windows, Linux, virtualization).
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
