The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a world-leading institute in global health with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries. The Department of Epidemiology and Public Health (EPH) investigates distribution and causes of infections and non-communicable diseases. To understand and promote the well-being of people in different cultural and environmental contexts, EPH applies various methods ranging from anthropology and social science to biostatistics and mathematical modelling as well as observational cohorts with biobanks.
The Systems Innovation Research Group within the EPH Department applies systems thinking approaches to health systems, shaping the way policymakers, managers, researchers, and practitioners approach health system challenges.
System Dynamics Modeler (100%)
This position provides an opportunity to work as part of a multicultural, dedicated team in an academic and applied research environment. This role will contribute to and beyond health systems modeling, supporting decision-making and policy planning at local and international levels.
