Based at the company’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and reporting to the Head of Employee Engagement, the Senior Content Specialist - Employee Engagement creates high-quality content and helps improve how the company connects with employees around the world. This role works with people across the organisation, including Corporate HR teams (ashore and onboard), to create content and improve communication tools. The focus is on creating engaging content, improving tools to connect employees, and using design thinking to build on the company’s strong culture and make it even stronger, helping employees succeed and feel connected. This is an opportunity for someone organised, creative, and experienced to make a difference in a global company with nearly 30,000 employees ashore and onboard. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the company grow and supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. We are looking for someone with experience in creating content, managing communication tools, and supporting employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a creative mindset and a strong understanding of design thinking to connect employees and inspire growth.
• Implement employee engagement plans that align with the company’s culture, values, and goals.
• Create clear, engaging content for tools like the intranet, newsletters, emails, videos, and other channels.
• Help improve communication tools to ensure employees stay informed and connected.
• Maintain a calendar of company news, events, and updates to ensure employees receive important information on time.
• Use design thinking to understand employee needs and develop creative ways to help them feel connected and supported.
• Work with different departments on Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, and Customer Centricity projects to keep employees informed and motivated.
• Share ideas and best practices with teams ashore and onboard to ensure consistent communication across the company.
• Analyse employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve communication and engagement.
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to support employee engagement goals.
• 5–6 years of experience creating content, managing communication tools, or working in employee engagement, preferably in a global company.
• Strong background in storytelling, with the ability to craft compelling news or feature pieces that engage and inspire employees.
• Experience in data analysis
• Strong skills in writing, editing, and creating content for different formats and tools.
• Experience with multimedia content, such as videos and graphics, that align with the company’s brand.
• Experience analysing data and using insights to improve communication strategies and engagement initiatives.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used for internal communication.
• Knowledge of design thinking and how to use it to solve problems and improve employee engagement.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or other European languages is a plus.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, focusing on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Willingness to travel to work with teams in different locations, including onboard ships.
