The HR Compliance Officer ensures that the organization adheres to all HR-related legal, compliance and regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring, reporting, and updating HR policies and procedures in line with evolving laws and corporate guidelines, coordinating HR compliance cases and audits to safeguard the organization's ethical and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to local, regional, and global HR compliance laws and regulations.
- Monitor regulatory updates and recommend policy changes to remain compliant.
- Develop and oversee processes for monitoring and addressing reported cases related to the HR Policies.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation and internal guidelines in cooperation with other HR teams.
- Partner with internal departments (legal, finance, and operations) and external advisors to align HR policies with organizational standards.
- Participate in the training to raise awareness of HR compliance requirements among employees and leadership.
- Serve as a resource for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance to teams on adherence to policies.
- Identify potential HR compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in Swiss HR Compliance, Swiss Employment Law or regulatory focused HR Role.
- Experience in handling HR audits, policy implementation, and compliance reporting.
- The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, allowing them to assess compliance risks and recommend effective solutions.
- A keen attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate monitoring and implementation of HR regulations.
- The role demands problem-solving skills to proactively identify compliance risks and propose corrective actions.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities are necessary to work effectively with HR, legal, finance, and other departments.
