Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated professional who is not only technically proficient but also demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic Information Technology team. Working alongside a diverse group of engineers based in Geneva, you will also liaise with colleagues across our global operations in over 30 countries. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure

Design & Solutions, your primary focus will be on the design, implementation, and support of our global network services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage robust global network architectures to support our business operations and strategic objectives.
• Provide advanced technical support to our Operations team, troubleshooting complex network issues and ensuring optimal network performance.
• Lead or actively participate in key IT network projects, contributing your technical expertise and project management skills.
• Drive a continuous improvement process by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards, thereby ensuring network reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with external suppliers such as integrators and telecommunications providers, managing these relationships to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills and experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in network engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years in a senior Network Engineering role within a global IT infrastructure environment.
• Expert knowledge of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN, MAN, and WAN environments.
• Proven experience with Cloud Technology.
• Expertise in Firewall technologies such as Fortinet and Checkpoint.
• Familiarity with Voice (Cisco) and voice recording technologies (ASC).
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage relationships across different teams.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
