Job Description

Within the Enterprise Excellence organization under COO, Citi has established Global Business Services to simplify the bank by breaking down silos and driving ownership end-to-end by business service, where each business service provides a specific product or outcome to an external end-user (e.g., clients) and is made up of the related processes, data, technology, risks, and controls.
Business Services – Corporate Strategy & Planning Analyst-Vice President will help define and manage the target state vision and strategic planning for the Global Business Services team. In this role, the individual will work with stakeholders across the bank to craft a vision for how Citi should operate as an ‘end-to-end’ service provider, and put the necessary tactical plans in place to meet that vision.
Responsibilities:
- Collect feedback from stakeholders across the bank to understand their vision for Global Business Services
- Refine target state vision for Business Services, based on feedback from stakeholders and enterprise partners
- Make the target state vision practical for Citi by delivering proposals on strategic priorities, including internal services, incentive management, organizational design, and additional end-to-end toolkit ideas
- Drive execution of key strategic priorities in partnership with Engagement Leads and other enterprise functions
- Own consolidated roadmap of strategic priorities for the team
- Liaise between Business Service Engagement Leads and broader Enterprise Excellence team to prioritize simplification opportunities
- Own backlog of strategic priorities – build business case for each priority with quantifiable impact
- Communicate strategic priorities and target state vision to impacted stakeholders
- In the spirit of continuous improvement and simplification, assess frameworks, solicit business input, and recommend appropriate enhancements.
- Conduct competitive and market research to inform strategic planning and improvement programs as needed.
- Support delivery of improvement programs, including:
- Documenting multiple complex and interdependent projects.
- Ensure adjacent improvement programs and initiatives are understood and interdependent elements identified.
- Demonstrable experience of working with control functions and product managers to understand and support implementing changes to processes.
- Provide recommendations for combining or connecting programs and initiatives for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications & skills
- Business Knowledge and Expertise: Operational analysis, strategic planning, and project execution as well as knowledge of financial services products / businesses.
- Collaborating and influencing business stakeholders: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
- Communicating complex topics: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including horizontal and vertical logic and executive presentations.
- Overseeing programs: Consistently detail-oriented, organized, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task and manage to deadlines.
- Adaptable: Strong work-ethic, innovative and adaptable with positive attitude and willingness / ability to pick up work quickly when and where needed
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years or relevant experience in financial services industry

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$114,720.00 - $172,080.00
