In this 6 to 9-month temporary role, you'll gain hands-on experience in internal auditing while working with data-driven insights.
What you will do
- Support internal audits on data management for trading applications by assessing data governance processes
- Develop data analytics capabilities for Internal Audit, including setting up tools, processes, and frameworks
- Extract, transform, and analyze datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and control weaknesses
- Create visual dashboards and reports to support audit risk assessments and findings
- Foster the use of data along the audit value chain, from risk assessment to risk monitoring
- Build business relationships with multiple stakeholders across Axpo Group
What you bring & who you are
- 2-3 years of experience in Data Management / ITor recently completed or pursuing a relevant degree or Masters (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Statistics)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data extraction, cleaning, and visualization
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or similar tools
- Knowledge of internal audit, risk management, and data governance
- Ability to lead oneself, navigate ambiguity, and think collectively
- Fluent in English; German is a significant advantage; French or Spanish are welcomed
