Data Analyst – Internship (f/m/d)

Are you ready to make an impact? Join Axpo, Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy, and support our Internal Audit team in strengthening data governance and analytics capabilities. In this 6 to 9-month temporary role, you'll gain hands-on experience in internal auditing while working with data-driven insights.

What you will do

• Support internal audits on data management for trading applications by assessing data governance processes




• Develop data analytics capabilities for Internal Audit, including setting up tools, processes, and frameworks




• Extract, transform, and analyze datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and control weaknesses




• Create visual dashboards and reports to support audit risk assessments and findings




• Foster the use of data along the audit value chain, from risk assessment to risk monitoring




• Build business relationships with multiple stakeholders across Axpo Group

What you bring & who you are

• 2-3 years of experience in Data Management / ITor recently completed or pursuing a relevant degree or Masters (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Statistics)




• Strong analytical skills with experience in data extraction, cleaning, and visualization




• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or similar tools




• Knowledge of internal audit, risk management, and data governance




• Ability to lead oneself, navigate ambiguity, and think collectively




• Fluent in English; German is a significant advantage; French or Spanish are welcomed
