- 3D/2D CAD modeling experience necessary; Siemens NX knowledge is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills; other languages are a bonus.

Trainee – Aerostructures
As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).
Your responsibilities
- Creation and development of mechanical designs in CAD, from concept to manufacturing drawings
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation to maintain the helicopter prototypes airworthy
- Assist in test reports redaction from drafts to final stage
- Concept work for future optional equipment
Your qualification & experience
- Recently completed Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace (1yr max, or more if there is a justified reason i.e. mandatory army or civil service)
- 3D/2D CAD modelling experience is required, knowledge of Siemens NX an asset
- Written and verbal communication skills in English: minimum B2; French, Italian or German are an asset
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, provide assistance and input in projects while being able to work independently
- Curious, proactive and autonomous attitude combined with eagerness to learn industry standards
- Experience of helicopters or aircraft systems not required
