We are looking for an experienced Industrial Data Integration Specialist (full time) for the Printing Industry based in Lausanne for our Quality Control & Data Management Solutions team. This position reports to the Head of Quality Control & Data Management Solutions.
In this role, he/she will collaborate with internal teams, external companies and consultants to provide customer solutions that streamline data flows between production systems, improve operational efficiency, and enable real-time decision-making.
Key responsibilities
Customer collaboration:
- partner with customers to understand their production workflows, OEE metrics, data management needs and pain points
- conduct on-site or virtual assessments to map existing systems, such as ERP, MES, SCAD, printing presses and finishing equipment
- advise customers on best practices for integrating legacy systems with modern software and IIoT/Industrie 4.0 platforms
Solution design and implementation:
- coordinate and provide expertise in the design, development and deployment of custom data integration solutions to connect ERP, MES, WMS, MIS, SCADA, BMS, CMMS, prepress and printing hardware
- integrate systems across the production lifecycle, including order intake, scheduling, job tracking, OEE monitoring, quality control, and delivery
- develop dashboards and reporting tools to help customers monitor OEE and make data-driven decisions
- implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive customer information and production details
Customer training and enablement:
- train customer teams to use new data integration solutions effectively
- create user guides and deliver workshops to ensure customers understand and leverage system capabilities
- Proactively recommend upgrades and improvements to help customers remain competitive
Travel:

Education and Experience:
- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Printing Technology or a similar field
- certificate in Project Management would be an asset
- minimum 5 years of experience in data integration, with a focus on the printing industry
- experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for print production and optimisation
- knowledge of MQTT, OPC-UA, REST and XML protocols for data integration.
- expertise in integrating systems like ERP, MES, WMS, MIS, SCADA, BMS,CMMS & UNS systems and production hardware
- MS Office, Google workspace, Imaging software
- English C2, any other language an asset (DE, ES, FR).
