During your working life, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into the VAT's product world. As part of the engineering team, you will actively participate in daily business and even take responsibility for projects yourself.
- Support of product development projects in close cooperation with the engineering team with focus on mechanics
- Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
- Review and optimize manufacturability with manufacturing departments, supplier quality engineers and project buyers.
- Technical support in case of quality problems
- Cooperation in an interdisciplinary team
- Flexible year-round time model
What you will need:
- General interest in engineering
- Completed professional training as a Design Engineerand a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering
- Several years of work experience as a Development Engineer (3+ years)
- Experience in CAD systems, preferably Siemens NX
- User knowledge of ERP and PLM systems
- Independent by nature, well organized
