Associate Network Engineer

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a global financial institution, we are looking for an Associate Network Engineer to support and maintain their global network infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment, contributing to both day-to-day maintenance of the network infrastructure and strategic projects aimed at enhancing and securing their systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the global network infrastructure.
• Support operational needs and engage in strategic projects to improve systems.
• Implement and manage network security measures to ensure compliance and protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and innovative solutions.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education.
• CCNA certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of networking experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies; experience with Firewall, Proxy, or NAC is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and a hands-on mentality.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
