Are you about to complete your master’s degree or have recently graduated? Are you ready to embark on a journey that combines passion for wealth management, ambition, and excellence?
Our Focus-Track Graduate Programme is an 18-month journey designed to unleash your full potential, offering three rotations, including an international assignment. This unique opportunity will immerse you in Julius Baer’s global network, provide hands-on experience, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.
Your team
Join the Investment & Wealth Management Solutions division and become part of the Portfolio Reviews team. During your journey, you will gain experience into the financial markets, different types of asset classes and investment products (with an envisaged 4 months deep-dive into one product type during the international assignment), and learn about portfolio construction. This knowledge will enable you to prepare tailor-made investment proposals for advisory clients based on our house view and client requirements.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Following closely developments in the financial markets, our Julius Baer House View and investment recommendations to understand how they affect the client’s advisory portfolios
-
Elaborating tailor-made, cross-asset class investment proposals in a portfolio context to align the portfolios top down (according to the bank’s house view) and bottom up (bank’s view on single-line bonds and equities, funds, alternative investments, structured products, and currencies)

Provide compelling investment rationales, including key highlights and supporting commentaries for our recommendation.

Deeping your product know how during the international assignment and the last rotation with the Investment Specialist team
YOUR PROFILE

Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in business administration (banking or finance) or economics (graduation max. 12 months ago)

Passion for financial markets with an initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets

Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented to ensure high quality delivery

Independent, resilient and team-oriented personality

Very good communication and presentation skills, confident appearance

A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning

Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus
