We looking for an IT Workplace Engineer to join a company located in Lausanne, you will provide first-level IT support by resolving user issues, escalating complex problems, and ensuring effective tracking through ServiceNow. Manage device configurations (PCs, laptops, mobiles), first-level system and network administration, workplace technology deployment, and contribute to automation and IT logistics management.

Description
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support, Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure (ServiceNow)
- Configure PC's and Laptops based on the standards.
- Configure the user profiles (customization of user profile as per standard and user's requirement, basic on-boarding training)
- Mobile devices configuration management
- Research questions and resolve each interaction with customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate reporting to management
- Contribute to automated PC' s updates and deployments (scripting, …)
- IT logistics (cabling, PC moves, stock/inventory management)
- First level system & network administration,
- Support the deployment and management of workplace technology, including meeting room technology and monitoring systems.
- Participate in the day to day system administration duties
Technical skills required:
Strong knowledge of:
- MS Windows 10/11, Office/MS365, installation and administration, Windows Server 2019-2022
- Digital World Technology (Mobile devices - iPhones etc), MS365/Azure cloud solutions, Internet browser administration
- Client-side networking (VPN, Wifi, client network config, TCPIP/DNS)
- Enterprise Client deployment systems (MDT, Intune, ManageEngine Endpoint Central an asset)
- Familiarity with cloud services, Physical servers and virtualization technologies.
- Remote support techniques
- Comprehension of the Life Cycle & Support management (ITIL etc)
- Meeting room technology
- Monitoring systems
Profile
- Holder of a Swiss CFC (IT, Electronic) or higher education, certifications an asset
- 2-3 years of professional experience
- Fluent in French and English (at least technical),
- Excellent customer service attitude and problem solving abilities and experience
- Willingness to constantly maintain qualifications by analyzing technical issues
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Comfortable to work in a multicultural environment and open to travel occasionally
- Willingness to create and maintain documentation
