Your team
Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
As a new member of the team, you will be responsible for processing trades involving standard products (stocks, bonds and structured products) carried out by our Pictet Trading & Sales division, as well as internal and external fund managers and our institutional asset management entity, Pictet Asset Management (PAM), within a multi-site environment.
Your role
• Booking delivery versus payment transactions on both the client and market side.
• Overseeing the various order books and proactively handling outstanding issues.
• Interfacing with other departments/teams in the Bank.
• Being familiar with all flows and banking systems related to trade processing (Avaloq, AMH, CTM, etc.).
• Setting up/configuring flows (e.g., ex-custody, brokers, etc.).
• Monitoring settlement operations and failed trades - Providing appropriate follow-up for each market to avoid any financial or regulatory impact.
• Handling incidents and reverted transactions with a critical mindset to provide suitable solutions that minimise operational risks.
• Maintaining excellent relationships with other departments/teams in the Bank while delivering appropriate solutions when requested.
• Understanding the front-to-back value chain. Making continuous improvement efforts while containing operational risks throughout the process.
Your profile
• Swiss Federal Certificate of Commerce/Banking or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in the banking industry (in a similar position would be an asset).
• Knowledge of settlement and market domains.
• Ability to work in a multi-site environment (Geneva, Luxembourg and other Pictet group companies abroad).
• Excellent ability to manage priorities and handle critical situations.
• Project management skills would be an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Fluent in both written and spoken French and English.
• Residence in Switzerland is required.
