The Opportunity:

Design and maintain a robust data catalog utilizing Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) capabilities, organizing data assets for easy discovery, understanding, and accessibility by data users across the organization

Develop and implement data governance processes and policies using Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog tools to ensure the proper handling, security, and compliance of data assets

Develop, maintain, and support workflow, asset type, and issue resolution management capabilities for data governance and catalog.

Extract, integrate, and manage metadata from various data sources to enrich the data catalog and provide meaningful insights to data consumers

Implement data quality rules and monitoring mechanisms within Informatica Cloud Data Governance to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant data regulations and internal policies.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to data governance, data catalog, and data management processes.

Support communications with basic documentation related to requirements, design decisions, and implementation.
Responsibilities

Design, development, and maintenance of data governance and catalog-based applications including implementing changes to CDGC Operational Model to support the Data Governance program, implementing various data governance workflows in CDGC and harnessing APIs to support integration with CDGC

Participate in the team to design and develop CDGC applications.

Coordinate development and testing activities with peers locally and offshore.

Providing project implementation support.

Providing detailed technical documentation was deemed necessary.

Incorporate business-defined rules in CDGC
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog development experience, including data profiling, metadata management, data quality, and data security features.
- Proficiency in implementing workflows and APIs in Informatica CDGC.
- Strong understanding of data cataloging, data classification, and metadata management.
- Proficiency in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts, practices, and policy implementation.
- Experience with JIRA, Version One, Power BI, and supporting technology initiatives with strong teamwork and communication skills.
