In our quest to revolutionize the world’s infrastructure, we’re seeking a dynamic Product & Solution Security Officer for our Cybersecurity Business Support Team within SI B Cybersecurity Unit
Location: While our preferred location is the Siemens Smart Infrastructure headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, we are open to candidates based in other key locations within the EU and USA
The Role
As a Product & Solution Security Officer, you will be responsible for driving product & solution security locally in a business organization. This includes developing and implementing security policies, frameworks, and best practices tailored to our product offerings. You will play a critical role in enhancing our Cybersecurity posture and ensuring the safety and security of our infrastructure
You will be a member of the global Cybersecurity governance department, reporting to C-level executives and within that, part of the Cybersecurity Business Support team
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure Risk Assessment and Management within Lead Country Bundles: Support Governance functions ensuring regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that products and solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices
- Incident Response: Support incident response plans to address security breaches or vulnerabilities in products and solutions
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure product security is integrated into all stages of the business. Foster exchange of experience and know-how within the internal PSS organization and network
- Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor Product / Solutions maturity and controls, and report on the security status of products and solutions to senior management
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their security needs and ensure that products meet their security requirements
- Vendor Management: Assess and manage the security of third-party vendors and partners involved in the product lifecycle
- Security Training and Awareness: Ensure that the people involved have the skills required for PSS
- Strategy: Responsible for driving the security strategy, aligned with the Businesses Security Strategy
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable
- 5-10 years of experience in product and solutions security or related disciplines
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing and Data Analytics
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities, with a focus on stakeholder engagement
- A strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Fluent in English, with the ability to explain complex topics in an engaging manner
- Proficiency in German or additional languages is a plus
