What you do:

• Execute daily material planning for various aircraft fleets to meet maintenance schedules
• Analyse fleet data and use material planning tools to develop forecasts, ensuring required aircraft materials are ordered and delivered on time
• Set and adjust planning tool variables (flight hours, maintenance intervals, reorder points) and determine the best inventory methods (just-in-time, bulk ordering or economic order quantity) to optimize stock levels
• Oversee provisioning and replenishment for multiple warehouses, monitor inventory and assess material availability
• Collaborate with various teams (logistics, maintenance, etc.) to ensure materials are available for all maintenance activities
• Identify potential risks like material shortages or delays and support the development of alternative strategies to keep aircraft maintenance and operations running

What you bring:

• Preferred background in the aviation or aerospace industry, with experience in aircraft material planning or maintenance planning
• Strong understanding of aircraft inventory management and supply chain processes
• Skilled in optimizing material planning factors like reorder points and planning strategies with practical experience using SAP S/4HANA
• Practical experience in aircraft maintenance planning and coordination is highly valued
• Very good English skills (min. C1) and German would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with different teams
