Our planning team in our logistics department undertakes essential work for the successful manufacturing operation and excellent customer relationship management at Johnson Electric. The team is now going through a digital and structural transformation to further develop its functionality; therefore, we are looking for you, a logistics professional with 1-3 years of experience to join the team as an Order Process Planner. Contract terms for this position will be 6 months.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Own the entire production line planning process including when to manufacture which product based on processed customer orders; raw materials order management and delivery planning.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and undertake related record keeping such as: customer orders and shipments schedule; lead times; packaging; invoices; self billing; etc.
- Manage and process customer orders via our ERP system.
- Participate in the physical inventory process.
- Consult with the engineering team regarding new product launches and their impact (New components, new suppliers, conditions change).
- Represent logistics and customers’ demands and interests in case of quality or production issue.
Our requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a logistics department of a manufacturing company.
- Excellent working knowledge of production planning and stock management methodologies.
- Experience in working with ERP systems (Movex or Oracle is a plus).
- Outstanding customer relationship management and communication skills in English and German or French.
- We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player, good at liaising with various stakeholders and has a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Second to none organizational, analytical and record keeping skills are also required.
