As aLead Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing within our Engineering Services department, your responsibilities encompass managing all EMS-related projects for our IGCT Gate Unit assembly. Specifically, this includes introducing new designs or design changes, interfacing with testing (ICT, functional testing, burn-in), component lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and providing support for all production processes.
How you will make an impact

You’ll spearhead the introduction of cutting-edge designs or modifications related to the IGCT Gate Unit assembly

Testing Excellence which includes In-Circuit Testing (ICT), ensuring that each unit meets quality standards during production

Functional testing by verifying that the IGCT Gate Units perform as expected
-
Burn-In Testing by Subjecting the units to rigorous conditions to identify any latent defects

Maintaining rigorous testing protocols, you’ll guarantee the reliability and longevity of our products

Overseeing the entire lifecycle of components within the IGCT Gate Unit is essential. This involves sourcing, Identifying reliable suppliers and ensuring timely availability of components

Proactively addressing component obsolescence to prevent production disruptions

Quality Control by implementing stringent quality checks throughout the lifecycle

Troubleshooting and Support

When challenges arise, you’ll be the go-to expert

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll swiftly resolve any hiccups and maintain smooth operations
Your background
-
At least 5 years of experience in electronics development environment

Experience in analog and digital design
-
Expertise in component engineering
-
Multilayer design using ALTIUM software
-
Solid knowledge of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes

Fluency in both German and English, both spoken and written
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues
