We are looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to help shape the future of consumer engagement at Nespresso, helping us bridge CRM and Performance Marketing to enhance our digital impact across all channels.
As a Global Digital Marketing Activation Lead, you will be at the heart of this transformation, leading the development of high-impact digital strategies that enhance engagement, drive conversion, and build long-term consumer relationships.
You will act as the strategic lead for cross-channel initiatives, working closely with regional teams, HQ stakeholders, and agency partners to ensure digital marketing activations align with business priorities. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting local markets, equipping them with the right tools, frameworks, and best practices to scale personalized marketing efforts.
You will lead a team of digital marketing talents, with potential expansion into Retail Media, Search, Social Media, and Affiliate Marketing.

A Day in the Life of a Global Digital Marketing Activation Lead
Define and Lead the Global Digital Marketing Activation Strategy
- Design comprehensive digital marketing strategy to maximize engagement and performance. Ensuring measurable impact on sales, acquisition, and retention.
- Define performance-driven marketing frameworks across Paid Search, Organic Search, Social Media, Affiliate Marketing, and e-Trade Marketing (Amazon)
- Oversee global paid media activations planning, ensuring consistency and alignment with business priorities.
Drive Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Lead performance marketing and CRM integration efforts, working closely with Marketing Intelligence to establish robust KPI
- Foster a culture of continuous testing and optimization, leveraging insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Align digital marketing strategies with first-party data initiatives, enabling hyper-personalized consumer interactions.
Enable Global, Zone & Market Digital Execution
- Act as a strategic partner to regional and local teams, ensuring global strategies are effectively deployed across all consumer touchpoints.
- Support eTrade, Digital Commerce, and Boutiques with data-driven marketing activations.
- Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring best practices are adopted across markets.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing talents, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, media agencies, and platform providers.
- Advocate for digital-first thinking, ensuring that Performance Marketing, CRM, and Performance Measurement work together to maximize consumer engagement.
Innovation & Future-Proofing Consumer Engagement
- Identify and leverage emerging trends, technologies, and new opportunities to push Nespresso's Digital marketing to the next level.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to test and scale new marketing approaches, including AI-driven automation and next-gen personalization.
- Ensure all digital marketing strategies drive long-term value and align with sustainable business growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strategic Integration & Market Adoption: Measured via feedback from regional and market teams.
- Digital & CRM Performance: Improvement in conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Market satisfaction scores and successful adoption of integrated digital & CRM strategies.
- First-Party Data Utilization: Measured by audience segmentation efficiency and personalized marketing impact.
- Acquisition and Retention Strategies: Evaluated based on customer growth, engagement rates, and churn reduction, ensuring long-term loyalty and business sustainability.
What will make you successful
- At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, performance media, and CRM-driven consumer engagement.
- Strong expertise in digital media platforms, omnichannel marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience leading D2C digital commerce, eRetail, and integrated CRM digital marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in measuring campaign impact and optimizing marketing investments.
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
