Job Title: Market Access Lead
Location: Kazakhstan, Almaty
About the role:
As a Market Access Manager at Takeda, will play a critical role in enabling patient access to our innovative medicines. You will develop and implement strategic market access plans, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment with Takeda’s overall business objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional team and key stakeholders to plan and implement global and regional market access strategies.
How you will contribute:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive market access strategies for Takeda’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with global and regional plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers and regulatory authorities.
- Reimbursement: Develop and implement reimbursement strategies that align with market demands and organizational goals.
- Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, healthcare policies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, medical affairs, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective market access efforts.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance understanding and execution of market access strategies.
- Budget Management: Oversee the market access budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

What you bring to Takeda:
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD) preferred.
- Ideally have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of:
(i) public affairs or government relations;
(ii) pharmaceutical market access, this experience should ideally have been acquired in a multinational company, and/or Pharma/bioscience company
- Understanding of the healthcare landscape, regulatory environment, and market access frameworks
- Strong influencing skills for external and internal stakeholders, ability to build productive partnership with different stakeholders’ groups
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools
- Strategic thinker, collaborative team player, and proactive problem-solver with a passion for improving patient outcomes
- Fluent English
