For our campus in Caux / Montreux, we are looking for
TEACHING AND LEARNING:

Assist Chef Instructors and utilize existing course materials that support learning.

Engage and communicate with students to encourage their course participation and learning while maintaining mutual respect and professionalism.

Provide support to students in times of need by professionally and expediently answering questions, addressing student issues, and working collaboratively with support staff to resolve problems.

Relate professional/life/industry experience to learning through professional/technical skills development, introduction of industry perspective into courses, and active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities.

Review and assess all work submitted by students and provide timely, personalized, and substantive feedback.

Attend scheduled program meetings, in-service workshops and School-wide faculty meetings.

Assist/support the Executive Chef and other colleagues Instructors / cooks in the Food order process, inventory and wastage for each class.
OTHER DUTIES

The Faculty member may seek and/or the Assistant Dean/Dean may allocateadditional duties within a Faculty member’s skill, competence and training.

When needed, participateto the Production Kitchen schedule, with or without student and as per operational necessity and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- The Assistant Chef Instructor has a professional degree (CFC) qualification or the equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the field.
- This role demonstrates a potential for excellence in teaching and proficiency in their field.
