Procurement Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will join regional sourcing initiatives, plan and implement the procurement and logistics strategy for an assigned category or group of categories, with a focus on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability. You will ensure the execution, in accordance with instructions and procedures from the company, of the Procurement & Logistics function and supply base management aligned with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power business in Quartino, Switzerland.You will be mainly accountable for:• Developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with the Continuous Improvement Process and business goals, ensuring supplier capabilities meet current and future needs.• Managing procurement activities, budget tracking, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.• Negotiating supplier agreements, including price lists, terms, and conditions, and adapting corporate frameworks to local needs.• Selecting suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability, and implementing cost-out programs to meet financial targets.
Qualifications for the role
- Min. 3 years of experience in electromechanical/electronics components, passive/active components, and/or PCBAs management.
- Sound knowledge of UPS Business.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with SAP, POWER BI, Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
