We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Winterthur. This role focuses on manual testing of terminal payment devices, ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of terminal payment devices.
- Identify, document, and report bugs effectively.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Execute regression testing, analyze results, and provide detailed feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Good understanding of software quality principles and testing methodologies.
- Experience in software testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools and procedures.
- Understanding of command-line tools in Unix.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with terminal payment device testing is highly appreciated.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Cucumber, with familiarity in Appium being a plus.
- Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Git and interpreting logs in CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of EMV specifications or EP2 standards is a plus.
