We are looking for a Qualified Engineer to join Data, Analytics & Reporting team. As a team, we provide application design, development and support to various model hosting platforms, working closely with peers from the business team as well as other engineering teams.

Your expertise

• A degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master's degree)
  
• ideally 10+ years of hands-on design and testing experience in several of the relevant technology areas, preferably in a cloud environment (Palantir architecture, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Spark/Spark SQL)
  
• ideally 5+ years of hand-on experience in distributed processing using Databricks, Apache Python/Spark, Kafka & leveraging Airflow scheduler/executor framework
  
• Extensively worked on Python and pyspark Programming
  
• Experience in Palantir platform as a data engineer or knowledge of Palantir platform is added plus
  
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and delivering within Azure DevOps, automated testing on tools used to support CI and release management
  
• Sound knowledge of Core Compliance business domain - Regulatory reporting, Trade survelliance and FCC crime analogy.
  
• demonstrate strong communication skills, both to management and teams
  
• Background in Core compliance and regulatory reporting
  
• collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
  
• Sound knowledge of software automation and experience with common test automation tools and frameworks
  
• Fluent language skills in German - B1 and English
