R&D PROJECT LEADER

We are looking for

A person with analytical and strong organisation skills, results oriented, synthetic in reporting and with a critical thinking. The candidate must be a team player with a leadership orientation able to manage conflicts and to lead complex discussions involving multiple stakeholders (inter-departments, customers).

Your Mission

• As part of the Motion Systems R&D team, plan and manage the development activities, achieving the deliverables within the specified time and budget and according to the company’s processes
• Define the project scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Estimate risks (matrix, FMEA) and drive mitigation plans
• Represent the ETEL R&D in front of the customers
• Monitor and report on project progresses (Quality, Cost, Time):

o Plan and organize project reviews

o Report the development status to steering committee, as well as problems and solutions

o Manage project stakeholders

o Define and organize gate reviews

• Propose and manage changes if necessary
• Evaluate and assess result of project:

o Spread of success and lessons learn within the company

o Propose and initiate continuous improvement activities.

Your Profile

• Master degree in engineering
• Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent is an asset
• Proven experience in engineering environment
• At least 3 years’ experience in project management
• Expert in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
• Ideally having worked for complex and international organizations
• Fluent written / spoken English (French is a plus)
