We are a VC-funded startup specializing in cell-based technologies dedicated to developing innovative solutions in the field of allergy diagnostics. We employ cutting-edge methods to produce living cells while adhering to stringent quality and safety standards.
To support our growth, we are looking for a Head of Cell Manufacturing to ensure the supply of living cells produced in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
Main tasks & responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the production of living adherent mast cells, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and other relevant regulatory standards.

Develop, implement, and optimize cell manufacturing processes to meet scalability and quality requirements.

Collaborate closely with R&D and quality assurance teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and ensure high standards of product quality.

Ensure supply chain stability and maintain stringent quality control measures.

Create, manage, and maintain a cell bank, ensuring the integrity and availability of cells for production and testing purposes.
Your Profile:
We are looking for someone who has strong experience in cell or cell-based manufacturingin an industrial or CRO context and understands the critical importance of maintaining a cell bank. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the efficient and compliant production of living cells.
Technical skills

Proven experience in cell manufacturing and strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly ISO 13485.

Expertise in cell banking and managing the storage, preservation, and access to living cells.

Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure scalability and high quality.

Knowledge of laboratory automationfor the efficient production of cells.

Working Language:

Education:

Master’s degree or PhD inBioengineering/Biotechnology/Cell Biology/Immunology/Molecular Biology, or similar.
