Electrical & Power Systems Commissioning: You lead electrical and power systems commissioning and startup (CSU) activities from the engineering phase to handover for Climeworks’ global projects.

Inspection & Testing Procedures: You develop and implement inspection, FAT, SAT, and CSU procedures for e-rooms, MV/LV power distribution, electrical drives, VFDs, UPS, and general electrical systems.

Safety & Compliance Leadership: You maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring all CSU activities adhere to strict safety and compliance standards without compromise.

End-to-End Project Execution: You plan and execute electrical CSU activities from start to finish, ensuring plant availability, CO₂/CDR production, and alignment with Climeworks' vision. You also contribute to developing CSU standards.

Process & Tool Management: You maintain critical processes and tools, including managing electrical systems within the Distributed Control System (DCS).

System Implementation & Maintenance: You design, implement, execute, and maintain electrical CSU procedures for Cypress demo and Cypress Stage 1 projects.

Project Management: Able to manage minor product support enquiries from existing companies and manage client scheduled and unscheduled support requirements

Ownership of Small-Scale Commercial DAC Plants: You will oversee the small-scale commercial DAC plants, ensuring strategy for the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of the DAC-1 portfolio. This includes coordinating internal and external stakeholders to align with project goals and sustainability targets.

Support DAC-1 PM: You will support the DAC-1 Project Manager (PM) in coordinating activities related to the DAC-1 portfolio with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.

Service Agreement Oversight: You will sign off on offers and invoices for service agreements, sorbent exchange, and spare parts offers for customers. Additionally, you will assist in creating calculations for these agreements, ensuring accuracy and financial alignment with the company's goals.

Ownership of Cost Centers: You will own cost centers for the DAC-1 service and warranty. This includes approval and budget/spend planning, ensuring the financial health of the service operations related to the DAC-1 portfolio.

Educational & Professional Credentials: You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and professional accreditation (IEng). You also possess approved electrical licenses for MV/LV installation and energization.

Experience & Expertise: You have at least 10 years of experience in plant commissioning & startup, including 5+ years in a senior role with MV/LV responsibility. You bring a strong track record in MV/LV CSU within the process engineering industry.

Technical & Leadership Skills: You have hands-on experience with MV power switching, variable speed drives, electrical protection systems, and FAT/SAT procedures. You lead electrical safety efforts and ensure smooth CSU execution.

Project Management & Decision-Making: You are a structured leader, capable of coordinating complex CSU projects, making fast decisions, and driving continuous improvements.

Problem-Solving & Communication: You are a strong problem solver, an effective communicator, and a collaborative team player.

Language Skills: You are business fluent in English.

Travel Requirement: This role is office and site based. You are willing to travel up to 75% during project execution, commissioning & startup of Climeworks facilities.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
