As a
Communications Intern, your daily tasks will involve creating and updating
engaging content across various communication platforms, including written
materials, videos, photos, and podcasts. You will work on projects such as
updating course outlines and other external training promotional materials in
line with IATA's branding guidelines, filming and editing videos, podcast management
and supporting the maintenance of the iata.org/training website. You will also
play a key role in enhancing IATA Training's visibility and engagement across
social media channels.
We’re looking for someone who can think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table! The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will need to maintain a sharp attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
You have
recently graduated (in the last year) with a degree in Communications*? (*or
equivalent). You have strong communication skills, excellent English
language skills, solid experience in audio and video production, with previous
experience in social media management and data analytics. Even if you don’t
possess all of these skills yet but have a strong passion and eagerness to
learn, we’d love to hear from you!
These are the key competencies we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, and Hootsuite (or similar tools).
Have an interest in learning SharePoint; familiarity with EPiServer and/or WordPress is an advantage.
Skilled in social media management, including tracking and analyzing social media metrics to optimize content and engagement.
Eager to contribute innovative ideas and actively support the growth and visibility of IATA Training through social media channels.
Hands-on experience in content creation for social media.
Experience in website management and basic content editing.
Proficiency in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
Experience in or a keen interest, in podcasting, with a passion for creating audio content.
