About the programme
Welcome to the Pictet Group’s Technology & Operations (Tech&Ops) division!
At Tech&Ops we design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of Pictet Group’s key innovations, while ensuring the continuity of business operations and the development of custodian and fund administration services.
Are you interested in helping to develop the next-generation of solutions for the Group's IT ecosystem?
Based on a permanent contract, our programme includes an 18-month rotation through a number of key IT teams, including Cloud Platforms, Data Management, Datacentre Services, Development & Integration, Innovation and Cybersecurity. This experience combines on-the-job learning with structured development initiatives, emphasising teamwork, skill enhancement and personal growth, all while setting clear objectives to guide your progress. You will develop robust skills and gain valuable experience by working directly with experts in these fields.
Your role
- Developing and operating cloud solutions based on the following objectives: performing research, designing, building and maintaining reliable solutions for the Group’s cloud-based applications and IT infrastructure, employing a balanced mix of Microsoft and Unix environments across various cloud providers.
- Optimising platforms, standards and practices: working closely with developers abroad (Portugal and Luxembourg), infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity experts and risk managers.
- Helping to implement projects in the fields of innovation, data analytics and cybersecurity: to support the Group's overall strategy. Promoting a culture of innovation by experimenting with new technologies and methods to improve processes and decision-making.
At the end of this challenging programme, you will be fully prepared to take on a role that aligns with your aspirations and skills.
Your profile
- Holder of a university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate), with a strong interest in computer science.
- Strong communication skills and able to work independently as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Highly proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages would be an advantage but are not essential.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
